My Platform
Informed Representation
The students and taxpayers from the towns comprising the Long Beach Island Consolidated District (Barnegat Light, Harvey Cedars, Long Beach Township, Surf City and Ship Bottom) only maintain 2 of the 9 seats at the table of the Southern Regional Board of Education.
Both seats representing all of our collective towns must make their voices meaningful for all stakeholders, as our representation is limited. I will participate fully, working to increase our seats at the table, having no personal agenda and not being afraid to question the establishment. Our students, parents, and taxpayers deserve informed and fully involved elected representatives, that are looking to maintain and improve the position of our community, educationally and fiscally.
Return on Your Investment
We all want our money to be well spent. Board level decisions are crucial in maintaining fiscal responsibility and accountability. Your elected School Board Members must also care enough to approve a sound curriculum and more importantly, vet the instructional resources they approve to support the students and staff in the delivery of curriculum.
I understand the value in education and concerns of our community. I will not be afraid to push for a better return on our investment for all stakeholders.

A Voice for the Students
Our students were faced with unprecedented approaches to learning the past few years. They deserve board level reflections on instructional practices, use of technology, and what works to ensure meaningful instruction occurs and is successful.
